In the current environment, it’s important for all of us to move smarter and more consciously. That’s why we want to let you know that safety, your safety and ours, is and will always be our top priority. Creating a stress-free experience is how we have built GPS Moving and is who we are as a company and this is no different when we are faced with challenges such as coronavirus (COVID-19). In order to maintain a safe environment and address client concerns, we want to share some of the steps we are taking:
- We have implemented a social distancing strategy, breaking up our workforce into three locations in order avoid congregate settings and maintaining distance from one another when possible.
- Enhanced cleaning protocols have been implemented by disinfecting our trucks and offices daily. We will not be using reusable bins nor boxes during our moves.
- Movers and foremen are briefed every morning on COVID-19 updates and any employees showing possible symptoms are sent home and cannot return until cleared by a medical professional.
- Movers visiting homes will be equipped with sanitizers, masks and gloves.
- Onsite estimates are still available through our virtual portal.
- We have temporarily suspended services to hot zones where there are growing clusters of coronavirus cases. Clients have been and will be notified if their service is effected.
- We understand our client's concerns and upon request and at no cost, we will postpone and reschedule services.
